A native of Williamsport, Pa., Mr. Bastress moved here two years ago from Virginia. Survivors include his wife Ruby Bastress, Ocala; daughters, Sharon Goree, Tampa, and Joanne Hendricks, Palm Harbor; sisters, June Silsbee, Walkersville, Md., and Carrie McCloskey, Ocala; and four grandchildren. Jennings-Archway Funeral Home, Ocala, is handling arrangements.
